Health Care Heroes Honored

The City of Monticello honored our local healthcare workers including IU Health White, local nursing facilities, and first responders on Tuesday, January 18th at our City Council Meeting.  The Mayor presented a proclamation declaring Wednesday, January 19, 2022 Healthcare Worker Appreciation Day in Monticello.

Immediately following the meeting we drew names of healthcare workers to receive over 100 gifts from our local businesses.

Mayor Gross would like to thank the following businesses whe generously donated gifts which included Indiana Beach passes, overnight stays at local resorts, gift cards, gift certificates, and gift baskets.
